The publishing industry has changed so much in the last decade. There are so many more options for and formats to publish a book. Join Kim Flowers Evans as she shares her journey from self-published memoir to completed manuscript for a middle grade novel.

What to Expect:  

  • The workshop will be 1 hour

  • We will meet on Zoom (you can download the free app here https://www.zoom.us/download or join with the link provided - no need to download anything)

  • This will be an interactive workshop. You get to learn something new and connect with the presenter and other participants in real time.

You’ll learn:

  • How to connect with your personal creative writing muse

  • Ways to be inspired to write

  • Tools for your own creative journey, and

  • Have your own questions answered in a Q&A

You will get:

  • A recording of the workshop - available for two weeks, if you are unable to attend live or just want to watch to it again to deepen your understanding.

Kim Flowers Evans is an author and writing coach who helps aspiring authors establish a writing practice and bring their projects to fruition. She self-published her memoir, What I Gave to the Fire, in 2015. She’s currently writing a middle grade novel entitled Young Witches: The Ghost of Hunter School. In her day job as a graphic designer, she creates marketing materials for Cook Medical, a Fortune 500 medical device company in Bloomington, Indiana. Kim also serves on the board of directors for Women Writing for (a) Change®, Bloomington.
